Studio maternity sessions are some of my absolute favourites, and not just because they’re weather-proof. There’s something incredibly powerful about photographing a mama-to-be in a quiet, controlled space, using soft, intentional lighting to shape every frame.

For this session, we kept things minimal and elegant. No distractions. Just studio lighting, a neutral backdrop, and a glowing mama in the spotlight.

For Athena’s session, we focused on a clean, refined aesthetic with soft shadows and highlights to emphasize her beautiful bump and the emotion of this fleeting season. She wore a few pieces from my client closet, including a stunning crochet gown that highlighted her silhouette perfectly.
